This 1-day workshop provides participants the skills and knowledge to successfully bake traditional lapis cake
- Introduction to basic ingredients, their function and characteristics
- Understand the basic variation and formulation balance of the ingredients
- Application of correct skills and techniques to lapis cake production
- Trouble-shooting common errors in cake batter preparation, consistency and cooking outcomes
- Hands-on learning how to bake 2 lapis flavours: Lemon Cheesecake Oreo Lapis and Cranberry Lapis Roll
Working in pairs, you will each bring home half of 6×6 inches square lapis cake & one whole of 8″ lapis roll
Light lunch will be included. Pls let us know if you have a special dietary requirement
